Anime FTP
Another much desired method of downloading anime, whether episodes or music, is through free anime FTP servers. Free anime FTP servers are very much like anime direct download sites, except that they use the FTP protocol rather than the HTTP protocol.
As such, many (but not all) of the advantages of anime DDL sites apply to anime FTPs. Anime FTP servers allow fans to download anime episodes using a download accelerator, and unlike Bittorrent, modems do not lock-up when downloading anime using a FTP server. But like BT, not everybody can use FTP servers.
For one, ports that are required to access anime FTP servers may be blocked. Take for example the infamous port 21 used by most FTP servers. It is usually blocked by most, if not all, universities and colleges to prevent students from using university high-speed connections to download anime.
In any case, if you have access to anime FTPs, then you must know how to use them. Firstly, download a free FTP client software, such as Filezilla. Then, enter the necessary details of the anime FTP server in the software. After that, all you need to do to access the FTP server's load of anime is to press Connect.
